For the more serious problems there is a hospital in Shanzu and in Mtwapa, BUT not hospitals as we know them, so be warned. Get all your inoculations before you head out here and bring your Malaria tablets with you. I know many people who have caught Malaria out here so be warned. If you have any spare IN DATE, and sealed medicines at home bring them and give them to the chemist in Sonia bar courtyard, it will help him stay afloat, he has only a small business.
